Entries For The Golden State Open Are Now Open
Racquetball Tournament Players,
The GOLDEN STATE OPEN Presented by JMB is open for sign ups! December 7th-10th, 2023 are the dates for professional and amateur play at the beautiful Bay Club of Pleasanton, CA. The big news about this IRT Pro Stop is that the ALL GLASS RACQUETBALL COURT will be set up as the Stadium/Championship Court at the club in their spacious basketball courts. If you have never seen racquetball played at the highest level on this court, you're in for a treat! There will be 400+ seats set up in our stadium seating, all of them with an awesome view of the action! Your entry fee into the professional or amateur portion of the tournament will be your ticket into the Stadium Court. NOTE, sponsorship opportunities and VIP seating are still available. All divisions will be available to begin play at 9:00 am on Thursday, December 7th. That does not mean that all divisions will actually begin at that time, but the divisions with a large number of players or teams will be more likely to begin early Thursday. We have a wide range of divisions to choose from in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. There are even several junior's divisions for all of our up and coming junior players throughout California and neighboring states. BIG NEWS, all divisions will be Single Elimination Draws with referees. All players that lose a match will be expected to referee a match in the next hour of play. If a division has 3-5 players signed up, then that division will be played as a round robin. With 8 courts at the Bay Club, we'll be limiting the number of overall players to 250ish. Please do not miss out on this opportunity by waiting too late to sign up. In addition, it really helps a lot to have players sign up well in advance. We're hoping to hit our max number by the end of October.

We are offering a Hospitality Pass for $50, which will cover five meals over the four day span. That's $10 a meal, and we all know that it's difficult to get a meal out for $10 these days. You'll be able to initiate your Hospitality Pass during your sign up.
One of the best features about playing a weekend event in Pleasanton at the Bay Club is the fact that the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton is literally connected to the club. It does not get any easier than that! Like our entry sign ups, please do not wait to reserve your hotel room if you plan to make a weekend of racquetball.
